Gaayip-Yagila Primary School opened in January 2021 with a vibrant 612 students who were eager to meet new friends and begin a fresh learning journey. We currently have approximately 1050 students and we will see this number continue to increase in the coming years. Gaayip-Yagila Primary School abuts rapidly growing residential areas in the suburb of Mickleham and is located at 115 Blackmore Road, Mickleham.

Gaayip-Yagila Primary School is a purpose built, state of the art educational facility consisting of two open plan, flexible and adaptive learning spaces and an administration, library and staff facility, incorporating science, food technology and visual arts. The Sports and Arts Centre includes a full size competition court and performing arts space. The school site has ample play areas for the students, including 2 playgrounds, a sports field and outdoor multi-use courts.
